Personification example for English project.
To me, he is a jungle
An exotic land enticing my senses.
His eyes, the stirring waters
Reflecting my image, immersing my soul.
His voice, the soft whisper
Of the leaves serenading the sun.
Vines for arms has he,
Capturing, entangling, holding me tight.
A flush races down my spine
When he bears his smile, a warm breeze.
And so long as she dreams of a different jungle,
Any lion can sleep tonight.

how is it that as i read more and more of these poems i am brought to the realization of my life??? i think you and i are more alike then we even know...if that is YOUR heart speaking...then dang girl- you know me even better then ya think!!!! haha
